Search committee members are required to complete search committee training before serving on a committee. The Office of Institutional Equity (OIE), in conjunction with the Office for Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) facilitate training workshops providing information about AA/EEO compliance search process steps and overcoming implicit bias in the search and hire process. An online module is currently available. The 45-minute online module fulfills the training requirement.
