Morgan Conway serves the Office for Inclusion and Civil Rights (Formerly, Office of Institutional Equity) as the Employee Accommodations Specialist for employees whose last names begin with A-M. She has experience in disability access, higher education policy, and accommodation processes within post-secondary institutions.
Morgan engages in the interactive process to determine reasonable and appropriate accommodations and supportive measures for employees at UConn and UConn Health to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), as well as other applicable federal and state laws. She facilitates the interactive process, reviews requests for accommodations, collaborates with supervisors and Human Resources, and assists in the implementation of accommodations to support equitable access in the workplace.
Morgan is currently completing her dissertation at Springfield College, where she is obtaining her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. Her dissertation focuses on the experiences of connectedness and belonging among neurodivergent individuals. Morgan holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut Neag School of Education (’18) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Development from Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development (’16) (formerly Wheelock College).
