Mishele Tarr joined the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) as an EEO & Search Compliance Specialist in July 2022. Mishele assists search committee administrators and representatives across the University regarding the search and hire process. She works to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations relative to AA/EEO in the search process. She also drafts sections of the University and UConn Health’s state and federal Affirmative Action Plans. Prior to joining OIE, Mishele worked as a paraprofessional in the Tolland School System as well as an Office Manager for a local charitable organization. Mishele received her bachelor’s degree from University of Connecticut.
