Anthony Soto joined the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) in August 2023 as an Equal Employment Opportunity Investigator. In this role, Anthony supports OIE’s response to matters relating to the University’s non-discrimination policies, including conducting investigations into complaints of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation involving University employees, including those at UConn Health and regional campuses. Anthony is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators.

Prior to joining OIE, Anthony worked with the Connecticut Department of Labor (CTDOL) as a Wage Enforcement Agent. In that role, he conducted investigations into a variety of wage and hour issues including minimum wage violations, overtime violations, nonpayment of all hours worked, final paychecks, fringe benefits, and exemptions. While at the CTDOL he also served in a leadership role in his union where he handled a variety of grievances and often met with management to address employee concerns.

Anthony’s career in higher education also includes working as a Resident Director with the Office of Residential Life at Assumption College in Worcester, MA.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing (’10) and a Master of Business Administration (’13) both from Assumption College in Worcester, MA.
