Jennifer Brown joined the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) as its EEO Investigations Specialist in August 2021. She assists OIE’s investigations team in their response to and investigations of reports of discrimination, harassment and retaliation involving University students and employees, and provides support to OIE’s overall operations in both the Storrs and UConn Health locations.

Prior to joining the OIE team, Jennifer worked as a Student Associate and Visitor Services Representative at The William Benton Museum of Art, located at the University of Connecticut’s Storrs campus. She went on to work as an Administrative Assistant and Interim Youth Arts Family Coordinator at Charter Oak Cultural Center, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide free arts and educational services to underserved populations in Hartford, Connecticut.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a Minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Connecticut in 2017.
