Cari joined the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) as an EEO & Search Compliance Specialist in November 2019. Cari assists search committee administrators and representatives across the University regarding the search process and hiring activities. Cari also works on the University and UConn Health’s state and federal Affirmative Action Plans. Additionally, Cari provides training sessions to the University community on the search process and recruitment strategies.

Before joining the OIE team, Cari was a Human Resources Assistant at the University of Connecticut for two years focused on Special Payroll for part-time professional staffing needs. Her other higher education experience includes work at four other universities in Residential Life and Student Activities. Cari earned her Master’s Degree in Higher Administration at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Connecticut in Human Development and Family Studies.
