Paralegal and Legal Administrator
Ann Coolidge Randall joined the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) as its Paralegal and Legal Administrator in January 2011. Ann assists OIE’s EEO Investigators and Director of Investigations/Deputy Title IX Coordinator in their investigations of and responses to reports of discrimination, harassment and retaliation involving University employees. She also coordinates the University’s Diversity Awareness and Sexual Harassment Prevention training for employees.
Prior to joining OIE, Ann spent two and a half years as the Program Coordinator for The Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity, Inc., a non-profit organization, whose mission is to unite the resources, energy and commitment of the Connecticut’s leading law firms, corporations, public sector entities, law schools and state bar associations in the joint mission of making the State a more attractive place for lawyers of color and women to practice law. Ann is also the Administrator for the Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel of America (ACC Connecticut).
Ann earned her law degree from the Suffolk University School of Law, her Masters Degree in Education from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and her Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning from Briarcliff College. Prior to attending law school, Ann was a litigation paralegal for the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York and the firm Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak & Cohen in Boston. She is admitted to practice before all Ohio state courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Ohio and Western District of Oklahoma.
Ann currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford.
